Atomic Computer Memory

This one did not hit the front page, but it sure looked like it would. With 70 diggs in the first couple of hours and a headline that appealed to a good portion of the Digg crowd, I was already counting it as a victory.

Somewhere along the line around 120 Diggs it just disappeared. Buried. Mysteriously. Oh well. It happens.

It's an interested story, though, as it details a recent breakthrough in science that is nothing short of brilliant - storing computer data in the nucleus of an atom.

For now, suffice to say that Rick is most likely going to perform at the awards ceremony on November 6th, at least according to a good source.
