Some of my best times in youth were spent sitting down in a lawn chair with a cup of coffee in the day or a beer at night reading a good newspaper or one of the old school magazines like the Atlantic Monthly or The Newyorker.
I haven't read anything from a paper publication in forever, unless it's online, of course. Still, it saddens me that we are seeing these venerable old rags failing. They need to adapt. They need to take their great writing and figure out how to expose them to the world of the Internet. Simply putting up a website is just not enough anymore.Thanks for listening for my rant.
